Signs You Need to Replace Your Pool Liner

There are several signs that indicate it is time to replace your pool liner. Some signs are more serious than others of course but if you notice several of the following signs, you need to consider replacing your pool’s liner.

• Cracks and Tears – This is the most obvious sign that you need to replace your pool liner. If your pool liner has a hole or tear in it, it obviously cannot hold in water any longer.

• Leaks – A leak is always cause for concern. A small leak may be able to be patched in the interim. However, a large leak may be an indication of a hole or tear which makes it necessary to replace your pool liner.

• Stains & Discoloration – Stains are often no more than a simple visual blemish. Most times, you can simply clean them off. However, if you cannot clean a stain away, your only option would be to replace the liner.
